Road Patching Work 2020

Nov 29, 2020

Residents of White Water Meadows, It’s that time of year again, when the rain causes potholes to form, wreaking havoc on our roadways. Potholes are costly to all of us.

The opportunity is here again for us to contribute to the development
of our community. We know that no asphalt or concrete surface will last
forever, but we can do something to prolong the life of your community roads.

What can an association do when the local municipality doesn’t maintain our roads.

· We can continue to write letters and ask for assistance.
· We can make donation to purchase material to patch the holes before it gets too bad or
· we can sit and do nothing, among other things.

Nations and communities are built on the small efforts of its individual members.

On Sunday November 29, 2020 we will be using cement to patch potholes on the Boulevard (near the entrance)

Work starts, Sunday morning bright and early at 7:30.

On Saturday December 12, 2020 we will be building a speed bump (sleeping policeman) on the boulevard close to the Lumsden/whitewater Blvd intersection.

There has been a lot of speeding by motorists along that area, and it’s a matter of time before something fatal occurs. There was a crash along that area less than a month ago.

We will also be adjusting the sleeping policeman, just after you pass the security post upon entering the scheme.

We crave your support, whether by you contributing your time or your finances.

The more resources we have the more work can be done.

Persons who see the need to contribute may call Devon Thawe or Nicholas Williams
