Good morning residents.
It is with deep regret that we inform you that based on the on going investigation of the damage to the community wall, a resident who live in the Stanhope area was apart of the malicious and cowardly act of destroying the wall.
The other person was a man wearing a mask. We cannot say at this time who he is.
This is an attack on all of us as residents and we do not take it lightly. As a people we must respond rigjtly to acts of violence and criminality.
The criminals have used violence, threat and intimidation to silence our people. They are of the view that crime really works and the way to get things done is to use what we call badness.
We have seen the destruction of going this route. Look at the impact of crime in Jamaica, look at our neighbours in Haiti.
We cannot stand by and let this one pass.
The matter will be formally reported to the Spanish Town Police Station.
The work will continue as soon as possible.
