This is an update on our fund-raiser to set up our CCTV camera system. The cameras are part of our neighborhood watch and our effort to help secure our properties and ourselves.
We set out to raise $2,000,000 by December 31, 2021 and to date we have only collected $269,000 or 13% of our target. This is very low considering the cost of the project.
We will be extending the cut-off date to January 31, 2022 and ask the residents to take this opportunity to push even harder in getting the tags sold.
For us to realize our objectives, it’s going to take more than the effort of just a few of us. Ask those who have made significant achievement, and they will all tell you, it takes effort.
We cannot wait until the conditions are perfect, that may be a very long wait. This project is going to happen; I encourage you to get on board. Let us prove to ourselves, that we as a community can do it. Yes!, we can.
