#10. October 9, 2022 The long awaited CCTV Surveillance System is now installed and is in operation at $457,882 and this was funded by the CCTV Tag Drive which yielded a total of $382,838.00 and the balance of $75,044.00 came from the treasury.
We will be linking to Jamaica Eye and also engaging the service of a private security company to provide quick responses.
We will keep you inform as to when we will embark on the additional areas for CCTV camera coverage.

#2. Funding for this project will primarily be through the Tag-Drive 2021 fundraiser. We encourage residents, stakeholders and well wishers to purchase multiple Tag Tickets. Tickets are priced at $500 each.
#1. Quotations were received from three companies, residents agreed to select Delivery Master Services who offered a solar powered CCTV system.
The Whitewater Meadows Citizens Association is undertaking a critical project to purchase and deploy a solar powered video surveillance system to monitor key areas in our community in an effort to enhance the security of our neighbourhood.
Cameras will be installed at both entrances and other strategic locations throughout the community. We will seek the services of a monitoring company and may look at getting the system connected to the Jamaica Eye network.

How will this project be funded?
Funding will primarily be through the Tag-Drive 2021 fundraiser. Where we encourage residents, property owners, stakeholders and well wishers to purchase multiple Tag Tickets at a price of $500 each.

Who would monitor the video feed?
We anticipate hiring the services of a security firm to provide 24 hour monitoring of the camera feed. The system will also be made available on the Jamaica Eye network.

How can I make my contribution?
We are pleased to offer multiple channels to make your contribution to this critical project. Contribution maybe made via cash, cheques payments, direct bank deposits (online or in branch,) in person on sale days at the entrance to the scheme or via home pickup.

What is Jamaica Eye?
Jamaica Eye is the national closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance programme.
Its a public-private partnership, launched in 2018, designed to network CCTVs owned by the Ministry of Security as well as accommodate feed from privately owned cameras.
How will the system be maintained?
The company selected to install the CCTV system will also provide maintenance on a quarterly, bi-annual or on a as needed basis.
