We take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the residents who participated in our road project on Sunday Nov. 29, 2020.
It could not have been successful without you.
In our last email we mentioned a part 2 to the project, this was scheduled for Saturday Dec 12, 2020. However, based on the last work day we are of the view that Sundays have less vehicular movements within the community and as such may be more suitable for a road work project. There were a few residents who were annoyed at the inconvenience, but it was for the greater good. We also believe more people are available on a Sunday.
Part 2 will be done on Sunday December 13, starting at 7:30 am.
we will be focusing on the Boulevard, that is the section after you take the first right turn upon entering the scheme.
A speed bump will be erected near the white Water Blvd – Lumsden intersection.
Work will also be done on Stanhope Road near the section bordering the Sydenham community.
We are expecting some more asphalt and this time plan to hire the use of a Road Roller, to roll and press the asphalt.
We need help to dig out the holes, sweep them out and get them ready to be filled.
Your contribution in cash and time is needed to effectively complete this project.
